KICK OFF FOR THE DETROIT
Fitness Motivators (and a few Michigan Zumba
Instructors) are Performing at the DETROIT PISTONS
GAME, January 23, 2010! We will be doing a
performance, pregame on January 23, 2010, at the
Detroit Pistons game in Auburn Hills! Please show
your support! You will receive half off of your
tickets ($65.00 tickets for only $32.00! PLUS, you
will receive a free Pistons item with each ticket
you buy. If you decide to go, we ask that you wear a
red t-shirt or purchase a sovenier shirt from us.

MEET OUR NEW INSTRUCTOR, ANNIE
For the past 15 years Annie has been blessed with a successful career in entertainment and is the Assistant Choreographer and Dance Captain for the Radio City Rockettes. Annie is ready to take the
leap in combining her love of both, dance and fitness. As leader in the front of the classroom, she will encourage, challenge, and ďMotivateĒ you to a healthier, stronger you. She is thrilled to be
part of the Fitness Motivators team and looks forward to leading you in a variety of exciting and innovative classes!

CLIENT HIGHLIGHT - JUDITH
"I first enrolled in one of
your classes approximately 16 months ago, and found it so enjoyable.
Currently Iím taking 3 classes weekly (two Zumba and one Z-Box).
Hopefully this will increase to 4 days a week soon.
I recalled doing aerobics about 25 years ago, and how much I enjoyed it.
However, Iím much older now; I canít move and jump around like that
anymore. Well approximately 16 months later, I discovered Fitness
Motivators Zumba Classes, ďwhich is a new concept to a fitness class.Ē
To my amazement, I can still move relatively fast and have fun!
A couple of weeks ago, I went in for my annual physical again and the
doctor asked about my exercise program. I proudly told her about Zumba
and Z-Box. Her response was ďGREAT! This type of exercise will improve
your overall health.Ē
And itís done just that. My blood pressure is great; my total
cholesterol is good and has decreased by 20 points. The good cholesterol
has increased and the bad cholesterol has decreased. My boned density
had stabilized. Even my waist line is improving, and Iím feeling
stronger and healthier than I have in quite a while.
After more than 3 years, Iíve finally discovered an exercise program
thatís approved by my physician and one that I thoroughly enjoy. Thanks

STAYING FIT DURING THE
We hope you are having a blast so far and we are thrilled to have you!
In this edition of Fit Flash I would like to take the opportunity to
help you all get through your upcoming Holidayís without the feeling of
overindulgence and fatigue!
As we all know and can
relate to if itís in front of you, you were taught to eat it (I know I
was!). However this could come to be a problem for all of us who want to
continue our healthy lifestyle path. Therefore, here are a couple tips
to keep your mind and body on the right track!
During your first
helping of that wonderful Thanksgiving/Holiday Feast take a small
helping! (A small helping consists of each item being no bigger than
the size of your fist.)
If you still feel
unsatisfied after your initial helping wait 5 minutes before
returning to get a second helping. This will allow the food time to
digest and time for you to decide if you really need that second
However, before making
your mind up about a second helping, remind yourself there is
When it comes to
dessert donít ever starve your self from these tasty treats but do
have them in moderation! Take 1 cookie instead of 5.
Finally, ask members
of your family to go for a walk after your meals (or to follow along
with some of our great videos online). This is a great way to visit
with family members and to get them involved with a healthier

Fitness Motivators will be launching Z-Box Fitness nationwide! We have been
working very hard on this program for many years. If you are currently a
Z-Box student, please take the time to provide some feedback. We would like
to include your feedback on our new Z-Box website that Donna designed (A
photo of yourself will be great, but optional.)

Fitness workshop will be available to all Instructors and their students
nationwide. If you belong or work at a fitness facility, please check to see
if they would be interested in offering a new class to their clients by
hosting a Z-Box Fitness workshop!
