Eating healthy and being involved in sports was something that was instilled in me from an early age. I was a competitive gymnast from the age of 5-13 and involved in sports during high school. However, once I started college and got married the pounds started to pile on. Add another 70 pounds gained from carrying twins and an aversion to eating healthy during that time makes for a very unhealthy combination.

I found that group fitness classes were the niche for me. Attending classes, meeting others who had similar fitness visions as my one and building a comradery with fellow participants was what I needed to get back on track. I started eating healthier again and the weight started to come off. I was feeling great! And even better, I was setting a healthy example for my daughters. I love group exercise so much that I decided to get certified in a few specialty classes, such as R.I.P.P.E.D. and Tabata training.
